Philosophy & Mission Statement

Language learning should be enjoyable and meaningful to the learner.

What are the two best ways to learn something quickly and effectively? Have fun and make it meaningful! The lessons in each course are designed to engage you in the learning experience. Through games, activities, and quizzes, you will play an active role in your language learning. The grammar you learn will be immediately useful to you. Each grammar point you learn will have a specific communicative purpose. In each course, you will discover new and non-traditional ways of improving your grammar and communication skills.

Collaboration is integral to language development.

We learn languages to communicate, whether that is in our writing or speaking. Much of our language development occurs in these daily interactions with others. Many online courses lack the communicative and collaborative nature of a face-to-face class. That is why each course at The Grammar Guru has been designed specifically to encourage interaction, collaboration, and communication.
